Relationship training for lasting connection
When a loved one is in the grip of addiction and the family doesn’t know what to do — intervention is often the turning point.
An intervention is a tightly orchestrated process that unites the family in a concerted effort to get their loved one into treatment. It breaks the code of silence that perpetuates the addiction, opens the conversations that have been forbidden, and is often the first time the love in the family finally gets expressed out loud.
I guide families through a five-phase intervention process: Assessment, Education, Game-planning, Rehearsal, and Implementation.
